Michael is a former military and police dog handler with extensive experience working with detection, protection and search dogs in operational environments.
Today, Michael brings that experience to Tartan Whistle Dog Training, providing practical one-on-one training for pet and working dogs.
His approach focuses on understanding the dog in front of him and tapping into their natural ability through reward, motivation and clear communication. Training is tailored to each dog and handler, building reliable obedience, confidence and purposeful skills that can be applied in the real world.
